"I just try to focus on writing songs that are compelling the whole way through rather than trying to pidgeonhole it into a specific genre," said Matthew Myers in a 2004 press interview.  

Matt launched 2EastMusic.com in November 2005 as a small business dedicated to writing music for video games. Matt’s music has been featured on Video Games Live, major record labels, in numerous handheld games, PC and online games, independent movies, as well as G4 and FUNimation TV channels. Matt is involved in the Boston area gaming and music communities as a songwriter, producer, performer, journalist and frequendly a guest of honor at anime and gaming fandom conventions.
